Book Sale on May 5

Become a friend of the library and beat the booksellers.

Stock up on your summer reading at the Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library book sale on Saturday, May 5. Become a member of the Friends of the Pleasant Hill Library and get in at 9:30 a.m. The sale opens to the general public at 10 a.m. and closes at 3 p.m. If it’s not raining the sale will be right behind the Pleasant Hill Library. Memberships are $5 for individuals, $10 for families and $3 for seniors. Sign up for a membership here.

You can usually find lower prices at…Read More Wallmart or on Amazon and you must spend a large amount (a couple hundred dollars) all in one month to get any cash back reward at all. If you spend money on school supplies spread out, like $150/mo, you do not accumulate enough in any one month to get any reward at all. The deal sounds great, but I've found it completely useless and frustrating. I think it's a ploy for positive press only, and of little help to a teacher.
