Week In Review: Peaceful Frogs

On the news that Barnes & Noble was making plans to close stores around the country (without specifying which ones yet), a number of readers commented on their love for the Pleasant Hill outlet. "I still love the hands-on feel of a book & the smell of coffee under one roof," wrote Curious Seeker.

Marketing manager Zac Shess was selected to fill a vacancy on the city's Rec and Park District board.

A Pleasant Hill police officer sued the city and the police department, alleging that a supervisor sexually harassed her.
