Week In Review: Street Theatre & Pond Life

Did you miss some of the stories from Pleasant Hill Patch earlier in the week?

From turtles and Koi to crabs to street theatre, Pleasant Hill was quite a menagerie. Here are some of the most-read stories on Pleasant Hill Patch in the last week.

Patch stopped to find out a little more about some union-produced street theatre in a labor dispute at Sunvalley Shopping Center.

Did you have your feelers out? Did you mark your crab calendar for Feb. 9? Well, then plan on clawing your way down to the crab feed at the Pleasant Hill Senior Center. It's a benefit sponsored by the Pleasant Hill Lions Club and the Pleasant Hill Dolfins swim team.

The American Lung Association gave Pleasant Hill enough good marks in smoke-free outdoor environments, smoke-free housing and regulating the sale of tobacco to bring the city to a B grade in its "State of Tobacco Control 2013" report.

It's a Patch video with flashes of color, underwater, and flashes of tracing the family trees of Koi in the pond at City Hall.
