Summer Concert Season Returns to Pleasant Hill
Here's the schedule for the Sunset By the Lake summer concerts, which start May 26 and run until Sept. 1.
The 16th annual Sunset by the Lake summer concert series gets grooving May 26 in downtown Pleasant Hill.
Hosted by the Civic Action Commission, the concerts take place on the lawn outside Pleasant Hill City Hall every other Sunday through to Sept. 1, 2013. The events are free to the public.
This year's lineup spans classic rock, country, R&B and dance, as well as Cajun and African music.

May 26 - Tender Mercies (Original Rock)
June 9 - Zoo Station (U2 Cover Band)
June 23 - East Bay MUDD (Funk/R&B)
July 7 - Spin Out (Oldies/Rockabilly)
July 21 - The Bell Brothers (Country Rock)
August 4 - Dave Martin's House Party (Covers/R&B/Dance)
August 18 - Cover 2 Cover (High Energy Dance Music)
September 1 - Gumbo Stew (Cajun/Zydeco)
