Dickey's BBQ Coming Soon, Royale Image Spa Closes

Sprouts and shutters on the Pleasant Hill business scene include a new pit spot for ribs, and the closure of a day spa downtown.

Pleasant Hill is getting more delicious by the minute.

In addition to the news of  coming to the heart of downtown, the national chain Dickey's Barbecue Pit is gearing up to open its doors on Pleasant Hill Road.

The Dickey's restaurant is "coming soon," but catering is already a go. Call the national hotline at 1866Barbecue to order for Pleasant Hill. The signature meats — including beef brisket, pulled pork, ham, chicken sausage and ribs — are all smoked overnight. Here's the catering menu, and a sneak preview of the take-out menu. We'll keep you posted on the Dickey's opening date.
