Giants v. Tigers: Where Will You Watch Game 1 of the World Series?

We want to hear how you think this series is going to go. Here is a rundown on schedules and ticket information.

Pleasant Hill has a great selection of sports bars from which to watch Game 1 of the World Series, with the San Francisco Giants hosting the Detroit Tigers (that feels so good to write). You could watch from or Black Angus, or Dallimonti's, or Back Forty Texas BBQ, or Farrington's.

So the question is not if but where you are watching Game 1. First pitch is set for at 5:07 p.m. at AT&T Park.

  • Are you heading to a sports bar?
  • Prefer the comfort of your own home (and the choice of Kruk and Kuip on the radio over Fox's team of Joe Buck and Tim McCarver)?
  • Or are you big time and heading to AT&T Park?

The Giants stormed into 2012 World Series Monday night by scorching the St. Louis Cardinals 9-0 behind the undaunted pitching of Matt Cain and the mind-boggling hitting performance by Marco Scutaro. The Tigers, boasting Cy Young and AL MVP candidates in Justin Verlander and Miguel Cabrera, respectively, are an even more daunting foe.

Let us know in the Comments below where you are watching the game and why! And see below for a full World Series schedule.

The Staples discounts are not really all that helpful. You can usually find lower prices atRead More Wallmart or on Amazon and you must spend a large amount (a couple hundred dollars) all in one month to get any cash back reward at all. If you spend money on school supplies spread out, like $150/mo, you do not accumulate enough in any one month to get any reward at all. The deal sounds great, but I've found it completely useless and frustrating. I think it's a ploy for positive press only, and of little help to a teacher.
