Finally, Pleasant Hill Patch!

When we heard that this great town would finally have online representation on Patch we were ecstatic, and couldn't wait to connect on a deeper level with our community.

Diablo Valley Oncology and Hematology Medical Group is honored to be blogging for Pleasant Hill Patch! When we heard that this great town would finally have online representation on Patch we were ecstatic, and couldn’t wait to connect on a deeper level with our community. We are a medical practice, treating individuals with cancer and blood disorders, located on Taylor Blvd. in Pleasant Hill. Our state of the art treatment centers and leading physicians, provide care in a warm, supportive setting, delivering cutting-edge, coordinated medicine in one convenient location. You can read more about the expert physicians behind our posts at Our Website.

For nearly two years we have been blogging on Blogspot and our own websiteabout cancer, blood disorders, and local community events. Some of our most popular articles are “A Multivitamin a Day,” informing the public what multivitamins can and can’t do to prevent cancer, and Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We will be posting on our Patch blog about each Cancer Awareness Month, local health events, and other health updates.

May marks Melanoma Awareness Month, so you can look forward to a post on risk factors and detection of Melanoma. Also Pleasant Hill has its annual American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life event honoring cancer Survivors. Last year the team captain for DVO, Leanne Francisco, wrote about her Relay Experience, and we will certainly update you on the event again this year. With these posts and many more we hope to inform the community and grow stronger together!
