What Are You Thankful For?

Count your blessings on this day of Thanksgiving and share your gratitude in the comments.

Thanksgiving is a time to appreciate the turkey, the stuffing and the family. But to enjoy an entire holiday dedicated to gratitude? That is the most resoundingly humbling thing of all.

After all, Thanksgiving gives us a moment to breathe, to take it all in. We get a chance to look at 2012 and ask: what have I been blessed with this year?

Whether it's unexpected opportunities, old friends or new comforts, this year has provided something worth basking in the light. So what are you grateful for this year?

Patch wishes every one of you a very happy, peaceful and loving Thanksgiving.

I am thankful for my health and my freedom. I am thankful to live in such a beautiful place. I am thankful for my children and my loving animal family. I am thankful for my parents, what they taught me, my grandmothers and aunt and cousins, sisters and brothers. I am thankful for my students, their families, and my friends.

I am thankful for my health and my freedom. I am thankful for my children, who inspire me, and for my elders, for all of the lessons they have taught me. I am thankful for my animal family and my friends. I am thankful to live in such a beautiful place. I am thankful for music, art, and books. I am thankful for the Hercules Library and all of the really nice people who work there. Happy Thanksgiving!

I am thankful for all we have, a house, food, health, friends. But I without my wife Becky nothing matters and will never take her for granted. I am thankful everyday, and tell her I love her everyday, because you never know. The thought of losing her is more scary than death itself, or the end of the world. Money, if I had any, possessions, material things, everything I own means nothing compared to her. I am thankful for Becky and the life we share, the love we share and life. And all she does for me. Without her I would not eat, breath, live. She is also beautiful and wonderful and by far the thing I am most thankful for.
