Lions Club Poker Night

Dozens of people play poker at Back Forty Texas BBQ to raise money for charity

They were dealing 'em, holding 'em and folding 'em at the Back Forty Texas BBQ on Sunday evening.

That's where the Pleasant Hill Lions Club held its most recent poker night from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m.

More than 60 people attended, filling out six tables of eager card players, each paying $50 for the privilege to play.

Each table had a professional dealer and there was plenty of barbecued food for all to enjoy.

First prize was $400. All of the net proceeds went to local charities.
