Pleasant Hill Library: Afternoon Book Club

The club members are discussing Paul Auster's "Brooklyn Follies" this month.

The Pleasant Hill Library's Afternoon Book Club meets on the first Friday of the month for rousing discussions of various works. This month's subject is Paul Auster's Brooklyn Follies. 

Have you read this examination of second chances, as a retired insurance salesman with a prognosis of lung cancer leaves his suburban home and comes home to Brooklyn to die, only to find his live slowly growing fuller through an expanding cast of characters?
