This Week's Classic Movie at Century: 'Schindler's List'

The Century 16 theater in Pleasant Hill plays a different classic movie every week on Sundays and Wednesdays as part of the Cinemark Classic Series. This week's feature is 1993's "Schindler's List."

The award-winning movie plays on Sunday, June 23 at 2 p.m. and on Wednesday, June 26 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. All of the proceeds from the screenings go to the USC Shoah Foundation.

Synopsis: Businessman Oskar Schindler (Liam Neeson) arrives in Krakow in 1939, ready to make his fortune from World War II, which has just started. When the SS begins exterminating Jews in the Krakow ghetto, Schindler arranges to have his workers protected to keep his factory in operation, but soon realizes that in so doing, he is also saving innocent lives.
