Pleasant Hill Death Notices

Jeremy Ficken: A resident of Pleasant Hill, Ficken was a devoted husband and father. He was a graduate of U.C. Davis who worked in the information technology field. Ficken passed away on June 21 at the age of 38.

Michael Heenan: A resident of Pleasant Hill, Heenan was a brilliant mathematician who loved chess and volunteered in youth soccer leagues. He passed away on June 22 at the age of 65.

Hazel Gambetta: A former resident of Pleasant Hill, Gambetta and her husband move to Pleasant Hill in 1950 and raised their family there. She passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on June 8. 

William Nelson: A native of Martinez, Nelson was a 1979 graduate of College Park High in Pleasant Hill as well as a veteran of the U.S. Navy. Nelson passed away on June 26 at the age of 52.
