Burglar's Stolen Car Crashes Storefront

Police are looking for suspect who drove stolen car into showroom of Verizon Wireless store on Crescent Drive Valentine's Day morning.

Pleasant Hill police are looking for suspects including a man who crashed a stolen sedan to get through a gate and into the showroom of the Verizon Wireless store on Crescent Drive at 5:36 a.m. Thursday, in the course of a burglary.

The stolen gold Saturn sedan was abandoned in the showroom of the store, and the suspect was seen entering a dark silver or gray sports utility vehicle that was waiting nearby, said Pleasant Hill police Sgt. Scott Vermillion. The Saturn was stolen in the Pittsburg area.

The burglar or burglars stolen Verizon products from the store, said Vermillion. Pleasant Hill has had an ongoing problem with burglaries of cellphones, he said.
