BART passengers in and out of the East Bay should expect some travel problems this morning with a grass fire near the Pleasant Hill station and a power outage at the downtown Berkeley station, according to BART Central.
A grass fire reported before 8 a.m. near the Pleasant Hill station is causing 15 minute delays both into and out of the station, which serves the Pittsburg/Bay Point-Millbrae line, a dispatcher said.
Also this morning, power is out at the Berkeley station with trains not stopping, but continuing through with stops at the neighboring North Berkeley and Ashby stations for those on the Richmond-Fremont and Richmond-Millbrae lines, according to a dispatcher.
