Pleasant Hill Police Keep The Special Olympics Flame Alive

Concord PD hands off the torch to Pleasant HIll police officers, who ran it to Martinez on Tuesday.

The Special Olympics torch was handed off in Contra Costa County Tuesday by a series of law enforcement personnel. In the morning, with the flame through that city, meeting up with Pleasant Hill police in front of Kohl's at the Crossroads Shopping Center. 

From there, Pleasant Hill police ran the torch down Monument, to Crescent Drive, to Gregory Lane, to Pleasant Hill Road, and finally to Alhambra Ave., where they were , who ran it to the marina. The Sheriff's Marine Patrol took the flame to Benicia, where it made its way to Davis, site of this year's Special Olympics on June 22.
