Police Blotter: Candy With Red Bull Chaser?

Also, a Rolex stolen from a bank customer, and other reports of nefarious, sometimes criminal behavior from the Pleasant Hill police log from March 4-March 6.

March 4
Candy and Red Bulls. At 7:25 a.m., a white man grabbed three Red Bulls and some Easter candy and left Luckys on Crescent Plaza without paying. Pleasant Hill police are investigating a report that he left in a gold Toyota Camry.

Bank robbery, in a sense. At 3:51 p.m. at the Chase bank on Contra Costa Boulevard, one customer reportedly robbed another one of a Rolex watch. No weapon was reported. Police are searching for the suspect, described as a black man with a 510 tattoo on his left arm, wearing a long-sleeve black shirt and jeans.

March 5
Foot bail. At 8:39 a.m., a motorist did a foot bail after an auto pursuit ended with his vehicle crashing into a house on Elder Drive. The pursuit started with an observation of a failure to yield northbound on Camelback Road. The suspect was described as a 5-foot-8 Hispanic male, dark skinned, 120 pounds, with slight facial hair, black hair, a hat and a blue sweatshirt. Police are investigating.

Inappropriate. At 11:22 a.m., police began investigating inappropriate texts from an adult to a 15-year-old boy whom he met on an online gaming site.

Trail assault. Police investigated a report of a man assaulting a woman on the Iron Horse Trail between Mayhew Way and the Pleasant Hill BART station. The woman resisted by driving her bicycle into the man, and then he hit her, a third party reported to police. The man and the woman were last seen southbound on the trail toward the BART station.

March 6
Window smash. A window was smashed of a vehicle parked at Tahoe Joe's on Contra Costa Boulevard. It was unknown what, if anything, was taken.
