Police Blotter: Seeking Sidewalk Egg Thrower

Also, a report of a motorist being followed by a white van — and other reports of low and criminal behavior by the Pleasant Hill police from Feb. 8-10.

Feb. 8
Bad credit card. Pleasant Hill police officers arrested a 32-year-old man on charges of attempted burglary and fraud upon complaint from security at Best Buy on Buskirk Avenue that he and friends were using a fraudulent credit card and passport.

Egg thrower. Officers investigated an incident in which a man standing along Chilpancingo Parkway near the canal trail threw an egg at a woman's car around 8:15 p.m. The man loitered in the area for awhile, the woman said. He was described as having a thin build and long hair.

Intoxicated. At 11:08 p.m., officers arrested a man for being intoxicated in public. Security at Target on Contra Costa Boulevard reported that he was yelling obscenities and spat at the front door.

Feb. 10
Dangerous. At 4:08 p.m., officers investigated a complaint that two boys were riding bikes down a dirt hill on Camelback Road to the intersection of Camelback and Chilpancingo Parkway, forcing cars to stop or swerve to avoid them.

Being followed. A 9:08 p.m., police received a report from a woman that a white van has been following her as she drives, and making turns to elude her. The van was last seen westbound on Boyd near Horton Court. Officers checked the area and didn't locate the suspicious van.
