Police Blotter: Valentine's Day Pot Party?

Also, a report of 'coneheads' redirecting traffic on Santa Barbara Road and other reports of low and criminal behavior by the Pleasant Hill police from Feb. 16-18.

Feb. 14
Breaking in dramatically. Suspects used a Saturn sedan as a battering ram to get into the Verizon Wireless storefront on Crescent Drive and steal some Verizon products. Pleasant Hill police are investigating.

Getting high on Valentines Day. Carpenters working on a vacant house on Caitlin Court awaiting the new owners moving in reported some "drugged out" men upstairs. Later the same day, at 6:42 p.m., the owner arrived and saw a man with straggly hair ride up on his bicycle and attempt to break in.

Feb. 15
Coneheads. Some teenagers were placing cones in the middle of Santa Barbara Road at Patterson Boulevard at 3:48 p.m., disrupting traffic. They had fled by the time an officer arrived.

DUI. At 8:39 p.m., officers followed an erratic BMW driver on Taylor Boulevard, north on Pleasant Hill Boulevard and pulled him over at Gail Drive. A 40-year-old man was booked on suspicion of DUI.

Feb. 16
Loose Rottweiler. Officers helped with a chase by citizens of a loose Rottweiler running in traffic on Taylor Boulevard at 11:40 a.m.
