Repeat Robbery For North Main St. 7 Eleven

Victim believes 2:41 a.m. Monday robbery with handgun was by the same man as April 25 robbery.

A robber, his face obscured by a bandana and a hoodie, robbed the clerk of a 7 Eleven store at 2525 N. Main St., at 2:41 a.m. Monday, Walnut Creek police reported.

The victim believes it was the same man, according to a press release by WCPD Sgt. Steve Bertolozzi.

The suspect was described as a white male, age 18-22, with a thin build, 5-foot-8 to 5-foot-10 inches tall. He was wearing a gray hood, khaki pants and a dark bandana, and armed with a black handgun, police reported.

The suspect was last seen running through the parking lot. Police searched the area with negative results.

The 7-Eleven is adjacent to an entrance ramp to Highway 680.

The April 25 robbery was at 3 a.m. on a Wednesday, and the robber also wore a bandana, and had a similar description. That suspect also had a handgun and fled on foot through the parking lot. He reportedly got away with $220 cash.
