Woman Arrested After Dog Dies In Car In Pleasant Hill Parking Garage

Police say the animal was left in a car without proper ventilation

A woman was arrested after police say she left a dog in a hot car in a Pleasant Hill parking garage on Friday afternoon.

Angela Kleinfeld, 38, was booked on charges of cruelty to animals resulting in death.

Police say they went to the parking garage at 160 Crescent Drive shortly after 4 p.m. after getting reports of a dog in distress.

They said they found the Boxer locked inside a vehicle with insufficient ventilation.

Officers broke into the car and took the dog to a veterinary hospital, but the animal died.

Make sure this idiot is not able to have pets again ever. even when a car window is down,it is not enough ventilation. on a 85 degree day it is likely 110 in a car window part way down or not.. STupid people do not deserve a dog. put the woman in there and see if she likes it.

Glad that you caught her before she drove home with a dead dog! Thank God for good Sumaritans that called the police!
