Woman Injured During Attempted Purse-Snatching

Pleasant Hill police are looking for the would-be bandits, who fled the scene empty-handed.

By Bay City News

A woman suffered minor injuries when two suspects pulled her to the ground in an attempted purse-snatching in Pleasant Hill earlier this week.

Police said the woman was walking near the intersection of Camelback Road and Chollo Court around 7:50 p.m. Wednesday when two male suspects approached her from behind and tried to grab her purse.

The woman held on to the purse and was pulled to the ground as the suspects tried to take it from her, according to police. The suspects then fled the scene empty-handed and have not been located.

Police said the woman suffered minor lacerations to her arms from being pulled to the ground. Anyone with information about the case is asked to call police at (925) 288-4630.
