The filing period for three vacant seats on the Pleasant Hill City Council opened on Monday, and six people have taken out nomination papers, including one incumbent.
Councilmember David Durant will apparently seek a fourth term on the council.
Also pulling papers are Planning Commissioners Jim Bonato and Tim Flaherty.
Chamber of Commerce President Matthew Rinn has also pulled papers, as has Jeremy Cloward and Paul Bittner.
Candidates have until Aug. 10 to file nomination papers.
