City Hosts Workshops on Social Media

The sessions targeted at small businesses are held Wednesday mornings at Pleasant Hill City Hall — Feb. 20, March 20 and April 17.

The city of Pleasant Hill is hosting a series of Wednesday morning workshops designed to help small businesses understand the utility of social media in marketing services and products. City Hall is at 100 Gregory Lane.

The City of Pleasant Hill will hold a series of social media workshops designed to assist small businesses in quickly understanding and using social media as a means of marketing goods and services.

  • WHEN: Four workshops on Wednesdays
 — January 23, February 20, March 20 and April 17 from 8-10am
  • WHERE: City Hall in the Large Community Room 
100 Gregory Lane, Pleasant Hill, CA

Each workshop will focus on one social media platform, with slide presentations that will be available to attendees. At the conclusion, each participant will have a basic working understanding of the use of a social media platform as a marketing tool. The four workshops will cover the most important social media platforms. The first on January 23 will kickoff with an introduction to and an overview of social media.
