Zac Shess Selected To Fill Rec & Park Board Vacancy

The marketing manager will serve out the term left by departing board member Cecile Shepard.

Marketing manager Zac Shess has been appointed to fill a vacancy on the Rec and Park District board. He was selected Monday from a group of seven applicants.

The vacancy is the result of board member Cecile Shepard resigning. Shess will fill out the rest of her term, which ends in November 2014.

Shess grew up in Pleasant Hill, left home to attend college and pursue his career, and returned in 2003 with his wife and two children. He has worked on several volunteer programs in the city, coached youth baseball and served as a Pleasant Hill Baseball Association league commissioner.
