Pleasant Hill Schools To Host Fall Orientation Days in August
These "all-in-one" days for returning students and their parents provide information on new policies, teachers and PTA opportunities.
Whether your child is rearing to get back to school or trying to stave off the inevitable for as long as possible, orientation days are designed to make the process a little easier.
Pleasant Hill's schools are hosting "all-in-one" days throughout August to provide families with up-to-date information on policies, teachers, PTA meetings and more. Browse the list below to find your child's school and information on upcoming orientation days. Check with the schools for details.
College Park High School:

Tuesday, August 20, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for 9th and 12th graders
Wednesday, August 21, 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m. for 10th and 11th graders

Wednesday, August 21, 5 p.m.-7 p.m. for those unable to make it during the assigned days and times.
Families with students scheduled on both days can come on each day or complete their walk-through for both students on Wednesday, August 21. Important: Students must attend walk-through to get their student ID and course schedule. If students are unavailable on these walk-through days, they must arrive early on the first day of school to get their student ID and schedule.
Valley View Middle School:
Wednesday, August 14
9 a.m.-11 a.m. for 6th graders; tours available
11 a.m.-1 p.m. and 4 p.m.-6 p.m. for 7th & 8th graders
Pleasant Hill Middle School:
Tuesday, August 20. Packets will be mailed to your home to complete and bring with you.
Sequoia Middle School:
Tuesday, August 20, 9 a.m.-12 p.m. Walk-Through Registration for 7th and 8th graders
Wednesday, August 21, 9 a.m.-1:45 p.m. Walk-Through Registration for incoming 6th graders, (Camp Sequoia)
Hidden Valley Elementary:
Thursday, August 22 - Details to come.
Valhalla Elementary:
Week of August 12th - Walk-through and orientation packet pick-up, Thor Hall/Parent Center
Tuesday, August 20 - Walk-though and orientation, Thor Hall, 2-7 p.m.
Tuesday, August 27 - Kindergarten Orientation, Thor Hall, 3 p.m.
Pleasant Hill Elementary:
Thursday, August 22, 1 p.m.-6 p.m.
Tuesday, August 27- Kindergarten Orientation: Early Friends 11-11:30 a.m.; Late Friends 11:30 a.m.-12 p.m.
Sequoia Elementary:
Thursday, August 22 - Details to come.
Gregory Gardens Elementary:
