Thoughts of a Pleasant Hill Middle School Seagull

A young poet gets in the mind of a lunchtime scavenger and aerial "bomber."

This poem was creatively written by an anonymous student. Ideas courtesy of Mrs. Ouimet.

The thoughts of a P.H.M.S. Seagull

What the heck are those children doing?

Do they really think they can fly like us by jumping and flapping their arms in their funny red and gray outfits?

How can they live their lives without leaving the ground never swooping throughout the air?

I hope they drop lots of food today so I can fight other seagulls for it.

Let me see ... Who should I poop on today?

From the February issue of the Pleasant Hill Middle School newspaper, "The Rampage."
