Bark For Life

Dogs of all sizes and breeds are invited to "take a bite out of cancer" at the third annual Bark For Life in Pleasant Hill. This cancer-fighting fundraiser will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Aug. 3, at the Pleasant Hill City Hall Gazebo Park.

Pleasant Hill Farmers' Market

The downtown Pleasant Hill farmers' market takes place from 9 a.m to 1 p.m. Saturdays on Crescent Drive in the downtown plaza.

Sunset by the Lake Concert

The 11-piece band, David Martin's House Party, performs a free concert on the lawn in front of Pleasant Hill City Hall on Sunday, Aug. 4, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Classic Movie: "Ghostbusters"

The Century 16 theater in Pleasant Hill plays a different classic movie every week on Sundays at 2 p.m. and Wednesdays at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m. as part of the Cinemark Classic Series. This week's feature is 1984's "Ghostbusters."
